Recognize that an insurance company is a corporation, and a corporation’s job is to maximize profits and the way that they maximize profits, is to pay you as little as possible. If they are offering you any money at all, recognize that they are trying to pay you the least amount possible and typically those cases are worth much more than what an insurance company is offering to an unrepresented individual.
