What should I do after I fall to protect my rights?
Return to Video FAQsTranscript:
To protect your rights after a fall, it’s absolutely necessary to the extent that you can medically or if you’re there with somebody that can help you, is to get the names and the phone numbers of all the individuals that witnessed the accident, the trip, or the fall. Also to check and see if there’s any video footage in that facility, and ask it to be preserved. And also, try to see if you can get any photographs of whatever substance it was or what you tripped on, to get any information or photographs, anything that you can, to essentially be able to show what that scene was like to your attorney. Once you do that, they’d be able to fully and further investigate your claim.
