The Marchman Act is a law in the state of Florida that’s available to families and loved ones of people that are addicted to either drugs or alcohol, that need help and they don’t know that they need help. The law allows these family members and friends to essentially involuntarily commit them to a place through court process by which they get the treatment that they need to get better.
