Return to Video FAQsTranscript:
A domestic violence injunction is a civil remedy available to the victim of a battery or an assault or other physical violence perpetrated by a family member or a household member. This injunction carries with it protections, which include a certain area that a person cannot come within, removing firearms from that individual, the perpetrator’s possession, or other remedies such as criminal penalties if it is violated.
