Return to Video FAQsTranscript:
Drug offenses in Florida, generally speaking again, are gonna be either from a first degree misdemeanor up to a first degree felony, carrying with it a number of ranges of punishments, fines, and incarceration. The incarceration can be up to a year in county jail, up to 30 years in prison. Some of those weights, depending on the amount of the drug that you have, or are accused of having can require a minimum mandatory 15 years, 25 years. Having an attorney go over those with you, and allow you to understand what the punishments are will help you in making the proper decision in your case.
